For some years I worked in humanitarian action in Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, Mediterranean (Greece), Sierra Leone, Lebanon and Mozambique as roving emergency officer. Currently I work for Plan International Netherlands as Sudan Joint Response lead.

In 2014 I graduated from the United Nations University Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT) with a master degree in Public Policy & Human Development with a specialization in Risk and Vulnerability.
