12-Nov-24 Mateen Saeed has an interesting story to tell. He has a lot of dreams and hopes and want to do as much as is in his power to help fighting against and coping with climate change. Mateen is an Agriculture Engineer and is working for Dorcas Iraq since 2018, During this period, he held several positions, beginning as an Food Security and Livelihood Advisor (FSL), then started as project manager, and FSL program Manager. Currently, he is working as climate change and FSL program manager.
Supporting people with an application on MHPSS, Cordaid does it in Yemen.
11-Oct-24 Monther Al-Sakkaf is the Head of the Aden Office and Program Manager for Cordaid in Yemen. Over the past four years, he has been actively involved in humanitarian and development work, focusing on addressing critical needs in health, food security, and livelihood support. One of Cordaid's most exciting projects is the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) web app, which aims to overcome the significant barriers to mental health services in Yemen. The app provides self-help tools, educational resources, and online consultations, offering accessible and confidential support to those affected by the ongoing conflict. Currently, the app is in its final development phase, undergoing improvements before being launched.
