As humanitarian team lead at Kerk in Actie my aim is to further build up the humanitarian structure and portfolio of KiA’s partners worldwide. Kerk in Actie offers emergency relief to save lives, rebuilds livelihoods in crisis affected areas and aims to prevent and mitigate disasters by strengthening people’s resilience and preparedness to respond to disasters. Working with our ACT Alliance partners and local churches is an important aspect in our aim to reach the most vulnerable.
My specific regional focus is on Asia; India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Nepal. Beyond project management, I am highly interested in improving quality and increasing impact based on mutual and part learnings.
