About the event

From 19 to 20 June 2023 the signatories of the Grand Bargain gathered in Geneva to mark the end of the Grand Bargain 2.0 and review the progress achieved.

The ultimate goal of the Grand Bargain is to enhanced efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability. Quite needed, in times of growing humanitarian needs due to climate change and (ongoing) conflict.

In 2021, after the first five years of the Grand Bargain, signatories (re)defined the overall goal, enabling priorities, and outcome pillars. An important task of the Grand Bargain 2.0 was to get local organization better on board. In 2023 it is time to take stock and (hopefully) to work out an agenda for the next three-year extension of the Grand Bargain 2.0.
In this debriefing KUNO asks humanitarian representatives from different perspectives, as donor, international NGO, or local/national NGOs, to review the Annual Meeting: What progress was made? What what discussed? What was not discusses, but should have been?
