20-Dec-24 | Interview Ruben is the head of partnerships, innovation and resource mobilization at UNICEF Sudan. He has been in this role for about 4 years. Originally, he started in Khartoum, when the Bashir regime had just been toppled. There was an incredible energy, and massive commitment to help the country transition into a peaceful and prosperous democracy. However, in October 2021, a military coup halted the transition, and in April 2023 war broke out, which is truly devastating. Ruben and his family had to leave Sudan very suddenly.

12-Nov-24 Mateen Saeed has an interesting story to tell. He has a lot of dreams and hopes and want to do as much as is in his power to help fighting against and coping with climate change. Mateen is an Agriculture Engineer and is working for Dorcas Iraq since 2018, During this period, he held several positions, beginning as an Food Security and Livelihood Advisor (FSL), then started as project manager, and FSL program Manager. Currently, he is working as climate change and FSL program manager.
